Visa Interview Documents Checklist

Documents required to Attend a Visa Interview

Appointment Letter:

Visa Appointment Letter which you can get by getting visa appointment on the web https://www.vfs-usa.co.in/Home.aspx.

HDFC Bank Receipt:

Valid HDFC Bank visa fee receipt (Receipt given to you when you pay the visa fee at HDFC bank).

DS-156,157,158:

Signed DS-156 form, DS- 157 form and DS- 158 form.

SEVIS Fee Proof:

Proof of payment of SEVIS Fee Receipt I-901, if applicable. (You can carry the print out taken of I-901 form. In case if you receive the original I901 form, you can carry that.).

Photograph:

A 2*2 inch photograph which should not be more than 6 months old.

Passport:

Original Valid passport. You are recommended to have passport valid for at least six months beyond your interview date.

I20:

I20 and Letter of admission (sign on your I20 on the specified place)

Financial Documents:

Evidence of financial resources: proof of liquid assets sufficient to pay for the entire first year of education and living expenses as well as proof of readily available funds to cover the remaining years of studies.

Degree Transcripts:

Original Bachelor degree (B.tech / BE/ or other) transcripts or high school diploma (SSC / 10th standard, Intermediate/+2 level) along with mark sheets from previous institutions attended.

Test Scores:

GRE / TOEFL / IELTS / GMAT score sheets

Work Ex. Cetificate:

Work Experience certificate of you are an employee of a company
